How to Sponsor
Cameras are available for sponsorship at $100 per year. As a sponsor, your name will be featured with the camera description on our website for the duration of the sponsorship. Nonprofits, businesses, and organizations are also welcome to include a link with the camera listing.

What Does Sponsoring Do?
Sponsorships help cover the cost of cellular plans for our online cameras, allowing us to observe photos remotely where cellular service is available. This technology is essential for positioning cameras in high-activity areas and capturing detailed images of the wild horses. The live cameras have already proven invaluable for monitoring injured horses and accurately recording the birth dates of new foals.

Purchase Cameras or Equipment

All our trail cameras use no-glow technology, which ensures that animals are not disturbed by visible flashes when taking photos. This is an essential feature for observing wildlife without interfering with their natural behavior.

Tactacam Reveal Pro
We currently use Tactacam Reveal Pro cameras, which are equipped with solar panels to reduce the workload on our volunteers and allow us to deploy more cameras in the field. These cameras capture HD images and 15-30 second video clips, providing valuable insight into the wild herd. Each camera is fitted with rechargeable lithium batteries, two SD cards, a protective case, and a locking mechanism. The total cost for each camera and its setup is approximately $300.

Reconyx Professional Research Series
We are also interested in acquiring the Reconyx Professional Research Series camera, which is specifically designed for wildlife research. This model is fully customizable and would greatly enhance our ability to study the wild horses in more detail. The cost for each camera and its setup is approximately $1,000.
